Why God Made Moms

as told by 2nd graders!

Why did God make mothers?
1.  She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2.  Mostly to clean the house.
3.  To help us out of there when we were getting born.

 

How did God make mothers?
1.  He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2.  Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3.  God made my mom just the same like he made me.  He just used bigger parts.

Mother's Day Recipes

If you're lucky someone else will be making these!

Crunchy french toast, fresh strawberries and cream cheese

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
8 slices cinnamon raisin bread
2 cups crushed cereal flakes (corn, bran, etc) - We used Kashi 7 Whole Grain Flakes
1 cup whipped cream cheese
1 cup diced fresh strawberries
2 tsp powdered sugar
Oil

Directions:
Crack eggs into medium size shallow bowl, beat lightly with a fork. Add milk and vanilla and stir well.

Crush cereal flakes and place in a medium size shallow bowl.

The day will begin at noon with an old-fashioned parade, after the parade, the festivities continue with a food court including local restaurants and caterers. There will be fundraising activities like face-painting, crafts, kids’ games, rides, and more. The music for the day will be performed by a Teen Band Showcase and other favorite rockin’ local groups. The day will end with a street dance and BBQ!
